In addition, Key Realty has put together a 5 step program to ensure your success as a licensee:

Step 1 –

The following necessities are of upmost importance as your first step is to establish the means to conduct business:

  • Hold and active real estate license
  • Agree to the brokerage policies and procedures (Independent contracts agreement)
    • Adhere to any additional brokerage obligations such as business licensing based on the jurisdiction of office location.
  • Join the association of Realtors
  • Obtain Business Cards – Call 702 313 7003 X1 if you have not yet received information about the business card vendor

Step 2 –

The most important step in yielding success in the real estate industry is marketing. Creating a means for which you will establish a client base is an absolute necessity. Key Realty recommends the following marketing tools and concepts to attract clients:

  • Contact all of your friends, relatives and general contacts to let them know you are now practicing real estate and you are ready to assist with any real estate need.
  • Leave your business card at any location whenever possible
    • Find a way to introduce what you do into a conversation
  • Ask Key Realty staff for a list of current listings and the contact information for the licensee who holds the listing. Obtain permission to host and open house at the listing and market the property / surrounding neighborhood with the intent to sell the listing or similar properties.
  • Market to your neighborhood or a surrounding community. Select a subdivision to market to and continually solicit the community with mailers and real estate marketing materials centered around the community
  • Further develop your brand with websites and marketing systems:

Step 5 –

Close transactions.

Keep your pipeline of customers, clients and clients full. You should consistently review your pipeline to determine the effectiveness of your marketing tools. If your pipeline isn’t full, revisit step 4 to ensure you are filling it. Create a system of follow up for your clients. Both old and new clients should have consistent correspondence.
